M began volunteering with EarthDance in April 2025 and quickly developed a strong love for the farm’s joyous and playful atmosphere.
M grew up and lived in St. Louis until moving to Ohio to receive their B.A. in Art History in 2021. M has worked in museums and parks as an educator and artist, aiming to bring local, free resources closer to the communities they serve.
As an avid hiker, camper, and cook, M has valued learning about and connecting with nature at any chance they get. After building raised beds at their family home in the summer of 2023, they sought refuge in gardening as a way of healing mind, body, and spirit.
Now a staff member, M is looking forward to connecting with the Ferguson and broader Missouri farming community, contributing to the ongoing project of food sovereignty, and rebuilding mutualistic relationships with land while sharing the beauty and joy of the farm far and wide.
