EarthDance grows farmers by engaging individuals from all walks of life in sustainable agriculture. Whether you are an aspiring food entrepreneur or merely “agri-curious,” we believe that our food system needs YOU. Our educational programming enables young people, seniors, college students, corporate managers . . . (and maybe you?) to experience the wonder and reward of growing food. Help us harvest for a day, take a class on soil stewardship or prepare for garden success by enrolling in EarthDance’s new Spring Training program for gardeners.
Want to grow a thriving organic garden? This 5-week course is designed for total beginners to gardening as well as those who want to plan and maintain their most successful garden yet. Spring Training will meet you where you are, with both online and hands-on options available, to teach you the skills and knowledge you need to be a successful gardener.
Want to become an organic farmer? This 10-week, full-time paid AmeriCorps program is designed for those with a strong interest in farming who want to immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of an organic farm. Learn every step of the organic farming process through hands-on experience in the fields.
Want to get your hands in the soil, learn about organic farming and take home a share of the harvest? Become a regular EarthDance volunteer. We couldn't do this without our amazing supporters, and many report volunteer shifts to be the highlight of their week!
