It might be winter outside but in our new high tunnel tons of greens are flourishing. This Saturday at market we’ll have mustard, chard, kale, leaf lettuce, spinach, mesclun, green onions, broccoli raab, arugula and frost-sweetened winter carrots from the field, along with hearty storage crops like hakurei salad turnips, watermelon and purple heart radishes, and onions. Spice up dishes with our cold hardy herbs like cilantro, dill and parsley. And our happy hens are laying loads of delicious eggs for your culinary delight!
Spend $15 or more and get a free dried flower bouquet (while supplies last, so come early!) The Winter Ferguson Farmers Market is this Saturday, February 20, 9am to noon, at St. Stephens Church at 33 N Clay Ave, Ferguson, MO 63135.
See you this Saturday!
