Miriam Singer

Miriam grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, arriving in St. Louis to attend Washington University and she never left. She earned a J.D. degree from St. Louis University. She began her career in private practice with a small firm before moving in-house. She worked for a number of public companies headquartered in St. Louis concentrating primarily on M&A, financing, disclosure and board governance. She retired from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals in 2014. Miriam and her husband, Steve, have three daughters and four grandchildren.
Miriam first learned about EarthDance during a site visit conducted on behalf of the Spirit of St. Louis Women’s Giving Fund of which she is a member. She so much liked what she saw that she began volunteering as a farm hand.
