June was raised in Ferguson—attending three schools, grade school, high school, and college—all within a mile of where she was raised. Growing up in a tight-knit community has inspired her passion for community-led initiatives. As a mother of three girls, and a grandmother of five, she finds great joy in connecting with family and friends.
June is retired from her career as the Regional Director of Hope Lodge Operations at American Cancer Society. She became involved with EarthDance a little over a year ago, and has been a beloved volunteer for the Development department ever since.
Her passion for the farm’s mission runs deep: “Fill a child’s belly with healthy food, that child will be more ready to learn; that child learns, will be more ready to learn more; that child grows to contribute to their community, that community thrives; we all win”!
