Helen Lee

With over thirty years of diverse design experiences, Ms. Lee’s project experiences are extensive, including Corporate/Commercial Office, Cultural/Institutional, Educational, Hospitality, Retail, Sports/Recreational and Residential (multifamily, single family). Ms. Lee’s work history includes hi-rise designs, development projects and international experience. She has worked in Los Angeles, New York City and London, England, before opening her practice in St. Louis, MO.

 

At TAO + LEE, Helen Lee focuses on a wide variety of project types and tasks, including client guidance, project supervision, concept design development, design leadership and technical overview. Ms. Lee also leads the firm in interior design concept and strategy, including branding, decorative finishes, furnishings and artwork specification, selection and purchasing.

 

Ms. Lee received her Masters of Architecture degree from Columbia University (New York) and her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from University of Southern California (Los Angeles). Helen was nominated for the SOM Traveling Fellowship at Columbia University and received an Architectural Guild Traveling Fellowship and Max Starkwell Scholarship at USC. In 2015 Helen was included in the inaugural publication of Who’s Who Diversity In Color. Helen regularly participates with the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of St. Louis (AACC) and OCA St. Louis (Organization of Chinese-Americans) and recently honored as Business Women of the Year by the St. Louis Small Business Journal.
