Heather Brown

Heather Brown is the Deputy Director of Arch Grants, a St. Louis–based nonprofit organization on a mission to accelerate place-based economic development through equity-free startup funding. In her role, she oversees daily operations and translates strategic vision support for entrepreneurs as they grow and scale their businesses. Prior to joining Arch Grants, Heather was the CEO of a digital product agency, creating innovative digital products for startups and enterprise clients. She also has a background as a professional tap dancer, performing nationally and internationally and teaching tap dance throughout her career!

After moving back to the St. Louis area in 2020, Heather was seeking meaningful ways to connect with the local community and begin her own organic gardening practice. That search led her to EarthDance, where she participated in Spring Training to deepen her understanding of organic farming and food systems. Since then, she has remained actively engaged as a volunteer and supporter of the organization’s mission. Heather is committed to food equity and believes access to healthy, nourishing food is foundational to strong, thriving communities. She earned a B.A. in Management from Webster University.
