Chuck Orban leads the Activation and Engagement area, which focuses on the experience design strategy and execution of the firm’s portfolio of engagement experiences and travel award programs. These teams create the conditions that drive connection, engagement, peer learning and recognition through our enterprise, regional, and market events and recognition programs. All of these experiences play a large role in fueling our strong culture.
Chuck began his Edward Jones career in 1992 as a financial advisor in Xenia, Ohio where he ran a successful practice serving clients, qualifying for six Managing Partner’s Conferences. In 2002, he was asked to serve as a regional leader. Chuck was named an Edward Jones principal in 2006 and the following year relocated to the St. Louis headquarters to join Financial Advisor Training. He moved to Branch and Region Development in 2010 serving as a division leader and continued in this role until mid-2015, when he spent several months helping lay the foundation for the firm’s Market Opportunity Strategy. He assumed overall leadership of Branch and Region Development in 2016. In spring 2021, he transitioned to his current role leading the firm’s portfolio of engagement experiences. A graduate of Butler University, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Chuck has a bachelor’s degree in business and finance, and earned an MBA from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management.
Chuck resides in St. Louis with his wife, Laura and in their spare time, they enjoy spending time making memories with family and traveling. He enjoys giving back as an active member of the community through the Danforth Plant Science Leadership Council and is actively involved with his church.
