Albert Harrold

Albert Harrold, aka Coach Al, grew up on Carson Road, and his father’s garden was a tomato toss away from the land that would become EarthDance. One of 17 siblings, he’s a devoted husband and father to three sons and one daughter. His journey from a large, supportive family to his current role as an educational leader is marked by significant achievements and an unwavering commitment to his community.

Coach Al is the new Assistant Principal at McCluer North High School, and he has a rich history of personal and professional accomplishments that have shaped his dedication to education and community service. He’s also the Founder and Director of Strength & Honor Summer Camp, and he’s been bringing campers to the farm for 12 years, intent on integrating the lessons of nature and regenerative farming for what they offer to campers and the community. He founded Strength & Honor (SAH) Mentoring and Tutoring when he saw a need for additional enrichment and support for students while working as a teacher and coach in the Ferguson-Florissant School District.

Coach Al’s impact on students and the broader community continues to inspire and uplift, and, in this spirit, he’s pleased to be part of the EarthDance Board of Directors.
