Week 7 on the Farm

April 26th-May 3rd

Weather & Precipitation Summary: Plenty of rain and cooler temperatures.

We Planted:
1. provider green beans, zinnias, fever few, cilantro, nasturtium
2. transplanted tomatillo and aunt molly’s husk cherry
3. flowers around Mrs. Mueller’s back stoop, donated by the great perennial divide (our friends at Gateway Greening)

We Tended:
1. major weeding after/during rain
2. transplanting tomatoes-and basil at the green house

We Harvested:
1. For our first Ferguson farmers market: bibb lettuce, arugula ,spicy greens,radish, and garlic greens–40 lbs total–sold out all but the garlic greens!

We prepped 6 beds and planted 6 beds!!!
