Note from the Founder: HOOP-A-Thon, Pesto Festo & Weed Dating

Hello summertime! Although our heat-loving crops aren’t as prolific right now, the cooler weather lately has been pretty favorable for our apprentices! And after the initial heavy rains, this season has been amazing with consistent rain. We have seen incredible bounty this year compared to last year’s heat & drought; just ask our CSA members! Our Farm Manager has mentioned that we haven’t even had to use our drip irrigation except to water in newly seeded beds.

Right now we’re about 8 days in to Hoop-A-Thon STL, our 40-day crowdfunding campaign to raise $8500 to build a hoophouse on the farm, and we’re only 10% there!
