Fulfilling our Mission of Growing Farmers, One Small Farm at a Time!

Steph & JoshFulfilling the mission of EarthDance by training up farmers, it is a bittersweet time as we both congratulate and prepare for the departure of our farm manager Josh Mueller and assistant farm manager Stephanie Jansing. We are extremely excited for them as they head off next season to start up their new farm, “Sometimes Southern” in Farmington, MO.

Stephanie started out as an apprentice here at EarthDance in 2009 while her husband Josh was teaching, and he slowly spent more and more time in the field and caught the bug for farming. Prior to managing the fields at EarthDance, they spent two full growing seasons together interning on other organic vegetable CSA farms in Montana and Illinois. With a love of being outside and working with their hands, they simply can’t imagine life outside of farming. (And they’ve done such a phenomenal job this year, we are having a hard time imagining EarthDance without them!)

Now, onto their dreams – we are so thrilled for Josh & Steph as they embark on this new journey together!

It is time for us to start looking for a new Farm Manager to fill this role for our 2014 season and beyond. If you have what it takes to be a Farm Manager at EarthDance,  fill out our Farm Manager Applicant Survey and visit: www.earthdancefarms.org/farm-manager/
