Farmers Formal Auction Sneak Peek!

Autumn is upon us and that means Farmers Formal is right around the corner. What’s great about Farmers Formal aside from a fantastic evening filled with good food, local libations and live music, in support of your favorite nonprofit? A phenomenal Silent and Live Auction! This year’s selection of silent auction baskets include: date nights with tickets to upcoming shows, a stay at Hotel Ignacio or Hampton Inn, and gift certificates to St. Louis area restaurants – Blondie’s or Bixby’s anyone? Learn canning or fermentation at home, host a wine tasting, or head to Maplewood for chocolate or olive oil tastings with Kakao and Vom Foss. Other fun items:

• Missouri artisan goods including a hand-forged dinner triangle, hand-blown glass designs, and engravings from Firecracker Press.
• Tickets to many St. Louis favorites including the Magic House, St. Louis Symphony, Dance STL, Touhill Performing Arts Center, and more!
• Health & Wellness packages which include massage & spa packages from salons such as The Center for Mind, Body, and Spirit, gym memberships, and personal training sessions, yoga and pilates sessions.
• New this year: floating sessions with Float STL for full body, mind, and spirit rejuvenation.

Our live auction features some exciting items! Back by popular demand, Feast on the Farm – a dinner for 12 prepared by Chef Rex Hale of the Cheshire and 360. Bid on a kids party on the farm or prix-fixe dinner by Square One Brewery. Feed your friends with a Bourbon, Bag-0, Bacon, and Butter Dinner- dinner for 6 prepared by Dierbergs’ own culinary master, Marianne Moore, or a Basso Pizza Party for 8 – compete with your friends to make the best pizza and have it featured on Basso’s menu the next day! Have a special event coming up? Complete the party with a two hour set from Delta Sol Revival – a Jazz, rock, Latin infusion, with the meal prepared by Cha Cha Chow food truck. Get away from it all with a trip to Finca Luna Nueva ecolodge in Costa Rica.

Through 501 Auctions, all bidding and auction previews will be offered online and through use of your mobile device.
