Overlook Farm

A Weekend for Six at Overlook Farm ($1,400 value)
High upon the rolling hills that hem the Mississippi, lie the peaceful gardens of a quietly burgeoning farmstead.  Originally home to a sprawling apple orchard, this farmstead once supplied its harvest to the White House. Today, it supplies discerning guests with a respite from the clamor of a modern-day life. Situated on a 200-acre site, Overlook Farm houses two historic inns, unprecedented fine dining and ample room to relax and unwind. Distinctive, luxurious and graciously inviting, every acre of this land – and each of its amenities – offers nothing less than country living at its best.

Overlook Farm is thrilled to offer 6 friends of EarthDance a night’s stay at one of its elegant inns and a custom-made 5 course seasonally inspired menu in collaboration with the chef, Timothy Grandinetti. The next morning, rise and shine to a beautiful day and be treated to a tour of a farm-to-table breakfast; a multi-course tasting to set help set you on your way to exploring the area.

Must be redeemed by April 30, 2011.Exclusive of tax and gratuity. Inn stay based upon double occupancy. Blackout dates may apply.

We’re not going to be silent about it: we need auction donations! One of the fun components of our annual Pesto Festo event that also raises much-needed funds to keep expanding EarthDance’s educational offerings to the St. Louis region is the silent auction. Just as the overall Pesto Festo event is a celebration of local FARMS, our auction highlights local FOOD, ART, RELATIONSHIPS, & MUSIC, SUSTAINABLY as well! From gift certificates to local eateries and fine dining establishments to original paintings to yoga class passes to home energy audits to handcrafted furniture to concert tickets to chocolate tastings, our auction always has something for everyone!

But we can’t do it without your help! If you believe in what EarthDance is doing, and would like to donate a product, service, or gift certificate to help make our silent auction the most fabulous one in town, please download this form, fill it out, and mail it to the EarthDance office! If you want to make things nice and easy on us, you can mail the item or certificate too! Or you can drop it off at our farmers market booth on Wednesdays at the Maplewood Market or Saturday at the Ferguson Farmers Market! (If it’s a large item, please contact us first to be sure we’ll have room to transport it!) And last but certainly not least, we’d be happy to pick up the item(s) you wish to donate! Just note that your donation will require a pick-up on your form, and we’ll call you to arrange it!

All donations valued at $50 or more will be listed on the website leading up to the event as soon as we receive them, so the sooner we receive them, the better promotion we can give you! All auction donations are tax-deductible, and we will email you a thank you letter for tax purposes. If you know anyone else who may be willing to donate something for our auction as well, you can share this letter with them. Thank you so much for your support!
