You’re Invited: Open House for Living Yoga Studio

EarthDance recently partnered with Yoga Buzz to create a space to connect the mission of both organizations. The result is a permaculture-inspired concept with living green groundcover as the floor, and space for up to 40 students to practice yoga and meditation, called the Living Yoga Studio. Built as a place for individuals to come together through yoga, nature, and mindfulness, the Living Yoga Studio will offer free weekly yoga classes, along with workshops centered around wellbeing.

An Open House will be held on May 12, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, and all are invited to come explore the space. Yoga Buzz and EarthDance especially look forward to hearing more from the local community about how this space can be of most benefit.  Attendees can expect a tour throughout the duration of the Open House and a free, all-levels yoga class at 12:15 p.m.

“The marriage of sustainable agriculture and yoga makes perfect sense – being mindful of how one takes care of the earth and nourishes their body goes hand in hand with the mindfulness that yoga teaches,” said Elle Potter, founder of Yoga Buzz.

Through this collaboration between Yoga Buzz and EarthDance, the organizations aim to create an inclusive space for the community where every body and any age is welcome to attend free weekly yoga and mindfulness classes.
