Attention Summer/ Fall produce lovers!
EarthDance is pleased to offer several mid-season CSA shares to the public. Production is quite abundant this year, and we would like to offer more of our supporters the opportunity to enjoy the bounty.
The mid-season CSA will begin on Saturday, August 10th, (pick-up either on Saturdays or Mondays) and will cost $275, with a one-time $25 sign-up fee. The last pick-up is on October 26th/28th. That provides new members the opportunity to enjoy 11 weeks of fresh, sustainably-grown produce, picked at that peak of its freshness.
Pick-up takes place at the farm, from our walk-in cooler, where shares are boxed and ready for you to take home. The farm’s address is 233 S. Dade Avenue, Ferguson MO, 63135. Saturday pick-ups are between 8-noon, and Monday pick-ups are between 1pm-5pm.
Because EarthDance has an educational mission, to provide hands-on learning about organic farming, we ask that all of our CSA members contribute four hours of volunteer work perseason. We ask that mid-season members volunteer for four hours as well—we believe understanding how veggies get from seed to plate makes them so much more delicious!
Here is what one of our members shared with us about his satisfaction with this year’s CSA:
“I’m pleased by the variety of produce, and the quality. There is absolutely no comparison to the freshness or integrity of the product.”
We have three of these shares left. If you would like to join the EarthDance Mid-season CSA, please register here. Your payment is due after EarthDance staff contact you to confirm your registration. Please plan to pay in full ($300) for your share, with check or cash. You may either mail your check, or drop it by EarthDance’s office (same as the farm address.)
