Nancy Schnell, a teacher in the Ferguson-Florissant School District worked with EarthDance to spearhead Camp EarthDance, a farm-to-table summer camp for middle schoolers that operated from 2011-2012. She also founded the Ferguson Middle School garden and now enriches her field biology curriculum with garden-based learning at the district’s Little Creek Nature Center. She recently began volunteering in the garden at Central Reform Congregation, a synagogue in St. Louis. Food grown in the garden is donated to the local food pantry.
