Meet Michael Caldie, Summer Intern

mc

Michael Caldie is rooted firmly in Southern Indiana. Growing up well outside the town of Columbus, he had always been close to nature but did not become a local food advocate until much later. It was through environmental and social justice groups at Indiana University that he quickly became enamored in a wide array of issues. This past year, Michael studied abroad in Pamplona, Spain and Santiago de Chile in search of the Spanish language and global perspective. While he is now much closer to home, the exploration will continue in this new and vibrant city.

Michael is beginning masters’ studies at IU this fall in environmental science and energy policy after his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management. Nonetheless, he is excited for a summer of learning practical skills through thinking globally and working locally with the EarthDance team.
