FARMS Rock! A Success!

The first ever FARMS Rock! took over The Duck Room of Blueberry Hill on Saturday, July 31. Over 100 EarthDance supporters came out to hear the Dogtown Allstars, Last to Show First to Go, Celia’s Big Rock Band, Firedog, Blue Tapp, The Duets and Sleepy Kitty—a showcase of local musicians who support area FARMS: Food, Art, Relationships, and Music, Sustainably! Many thanks to our event sponsors: KDHX, ALIVE Magazine, STLBlues.net, Blueberry Hill, Pi, St. Louis Earth Day and Sportsprint, and to the numerous local businesses and organizations who provided items for our fabulous raffle prizes, which were featured on Great Day Saint Louis. Just over $1000 was raised at this event, and all proceeds will go to support the EarthDance’s Organic Farming Apprenticeship program! Check out our flickr slideshow of the event here!
